GENERAL INFORMATION
Annual General Meeting 2018
Date: Thursday 3rd May 2018
Location: Pool Bar
Time: 6.00pm
Who: Adult rugby (includes family) &netball members
Attendance: 25% of adult rugby & netball membership for meeting to proceed.
Positions for election: Treasurer, Business Development Manager, Director of Rugby, Youth Team Manager, Club Captain, Fixtures Secretary, Social Secretary & Club Secretary.
Nominations close: Thursday 19th April at 6.00pm
Agenda items: must be written and submitted to the club reception by Thursday 19th April.
Meeting Agenda: Will be sent out on Tuesday 24th April.
AAA Closing earlier on Sunday 15th April
Sunday 15th April 2018 – the AAA gym, pool & reception areas will be closing at the earlier time of 7.00pm. This is due to the AESGC Staff party taking place later in the evening. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
AESGC Main Gate Closure
The main gate will be closed from 7.00am to 8.00am, Sunday 15th April to Thursday 19th April. This closure is due to the Abu Dhabi Police training session on the resort “ring road”. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
RUGBY UPDATE
Adults Rugby
Best wishes to our Men’s Conference team as they battle it out on Friday 13th April at 6.30pm, against Jebel Ali Dragons. Game will be played at Dubai Sports City. They are playing off for the Conference Bottom 4 section. All the best to the coaching staff & players.
There is also a supporters bus going to Dubai Sports City, this bus will be leaving the club at 4.00pm SHARP!
Finally, a big congrats to our Men’s team that won the BARRELHOUSE 10s rugby tournament in Dubai last week. Well done fellas!

AAA Junior Prize Giving – Thursday 19th April at 5.00pm
Teams: U6s to U11s age groups.
AAA Senior Prize Giving – Thursday 26th April at 5.00pm
Teams: U12s to Adults age groups (including netball).
Wadi Adventure Kids Day – Friday 13th April, 2.00pm to 7.00pm.
AAA Annual General Meeting – Thursday 3rd May at 6.00pm
Coaches Appreciation Evening – Thursday 10thMay from 6.00pm.
RUGBY SHOP – APRIL Theshop will be open Sunday to Fridays, 11.00am to 7.00pm. The shop is located down at the pool area (the old dive shop). Cash or credit cards accepted.

FOOD DISCOUNT FOR AAA MEMBERS
AAA members are entitled to a 15% food discount at the club restaurant. Please carry your membership card, as you maybe requested for proof of membership.

The rugby club now has a WHATSAPP group for members. This will be used in conjunction with the WEEKLY EMAIL &FACEBOOK PAGE to ensure you receive up-to-information from the club. This will include events, promotions and anything club related. We will endeavour to keep the posts to a minimum.

AESGC FOOD &BEVERAGE POLICY
Recently we have noticed food & drink coming into the club from outside. Please be reminded that this is against our current licensing. The organisation could be liable for huge fines should this continue. Please observe and respect this club policy.
GUEST ENTRY
Just a reminder, if you are inviting guests to the club, you must be present with them upon entry. Cost is AED 30 per visitor (limit of two per member). Non-members or visitors pay a day rate of AED 100.
THEME NIGHTS
Introducing the new FRIDAY CARVING DAY buffet! It includes a selected drinks menu along with a roast meat menu, including desert. AED 165 per person (excluding VAT). AED 90 for just the food and half price for children, 6-12 years old. Make sure you come along on Friday to try it out!
